How To Create Effective Email Marketing Campaigns - 3 Tricks For SuccessIf you have gone through the trouble of creating free opt-in gifts, gotten the traffic to your squeeze page, and finally added new subscribers to your email marketing list, then now is the time to really impress them and get them to buy some of your products. What to write, how to write, how frequently to write, and how to sell subtly is tough to figure out and there really is no “set-in-stone” technique. However, there is a great way for a beginner to write their email campaign that satisfies the subscriber without having them feel overwhelmed. Try the following 3 tricks to writing a quality email campaign: Trick #1 - The free content email The “free content” email is simply an email that delivers some high-quality information that the subscriber can use and apply to their lives, their business, etc. There is no length requirement, there is no format requirement, simply ensure they get some high-quality information related to the topic of your list. Great idea include: Sending them to good blog posts, giving them a downloadable ebook, sending them to a newly released article. There are unlimited things you can do, just be sure that you provide them will good content with no sales pitch. Trick #2 - The half & half email This email is a good way to subtly introduce some of your products, by mixing them into some good content. You can list a group of potential problems your subscriber may have, then follow it with some helpful information, then tell them that if they want to learn more, they can check out this product or that product. Always be sure to be very passive in this email, as it’s purpose is not to make a hard-sell, but rather it is to give them the option of checking out your products if they wish to do so. Trick #3 - The hard sell email Now the underlying purpose of this email is to get the reader to click on your link, bringing them to a sales page, however it is important to give them options, and not be pushy. A great way to approach this email is to ask your reader a question, something like: Are you still struggling to lose that last 10lbs? I’ve created a program that I know can help you do exactly that! Check it out by clicking here. This is straight to the point without being overly pushy, which is often a turnoff to the subscriber, and will ensure that they remain on your list.
